If you thought that line was corny, you need to watch this show because the actor who delivers it (Neal Patrick Harris) is at his best and corniest in this AWESOME show delivering lines you never thought could be passed off on a TV show. But this is by no means a one-man act....the whole main cast is absolutely funny and you are always amused, entertained, and intrigued by the silly and yet-so-new-york-like-life. And viewers always come back for more, not just for the humor and the story line but after all, don't we all want to know how Ted Mosby met the mother of his children? If you liked FRIENDs and SEINFELD, then you are going to absolutely LOVE this show!!!

How I Met Your Mother is not your typical TV show. The writing is smart and funny, and the acting is superb-- however, beyond this, the most exciting part of the show is it's preface. I know in the first few episodes it is hard to understand or get into, but when clues start being revealed, such as the yellow umbrella, it is a joy to follow. The fourth season sees Ted in a serious relationship, and more fun and laughs with the group than you can imagine. New clues are discovered, and the narration is fantastic, all the way up to the season's finale, which is my favorite episode of the show to date. If you are a fan of the show, or looking for something good to watch, look no further. I absolutely guarantee that if you give it a chance, you will love this show. I highly recommend this.

This show is by far the best show on TV right now!!! The cast is great and the show is hilarious! The only con is that the show is only half an hour! I own all three previous seasons and I love watching them over and over and they're still funny! Season 4 was not the best of them all but still kept me coming back every Monday.

Season 1-4 of HIMYM took TV sitcom creativity to a new level. The introduction of new scenes (Minn. bar) was truly brilliant. There is no other sitcom on television that has as much comedic diversity and creativity as this show. This season really brought this series to the elite of television sitcoms. I hope it continues for years to come...

Good writing and quirky characters played by likeable actors, this one consistently entertains me. NPH has created a classic character in Barney. And with the fabulous Alyson Hannigan on board *sighs*, I just can't stop watching.
